Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall

Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall is located in the heart of Yerevan. It is one of the architectural jewels of the capital. The concert hall opened its doors on May 17, 1953 as “Great Hall of the Armenian Philharmonic”. And since 1979, by the decision of the Council of Ministers of the ASSR, it was named after the world-known Armenian composer, conductor, pedagogue – Aram Khachaturian.

Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall is designed for 1300 spectators.

In front of the concert hall is the monument of Maestro (author: Yuri Petrosyan), which was established on June 6, in 1999, on the occasion of the composer’s birthday anniversary.
