Hotel-room after “Aram Khachautrian”
"Grand Hotel Yerevan"
In the distant 1930s, when Maestro used to visit his homeland, he liked to stay at the “Yerevan” Hotel, which is mentioned in his letters to his relatives.
In 1935, Aram Khachaturian created the music for the first Armenian sound film – “Pepo”, in the same “Yerevan” Hotel.
You can find some unique photographs, posters and handwritten scores of the film “Pepo”, from the collection of Aram Khachaturian Museum, in the hotel room named after Maestro.
